The consecration of one’s self was not “the end” of his service or life, it was a renewed beginning. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Let’s look once again at the New Testament verses using the definition of πληρωσαι as consecrate (to set apart and make Holy) instead of fulfil (to end or completed): Mat_3:15 KJV And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to consecrate all righteousness. If this is the correct interpretation of πληρωσαι, does it remove any question of what Mat_5:17 is really talking about? Yes!!
